How to structure a plasterboard quote
Plasterboarders usually quote a house as a lump sum for each stage rather than per sheet. Grouping the quote under clear headings — board supply, hanging, setting and the linings — makes the scope plain while keeping your pricing your own.
Board supply
Standard, water-resistant, fire-rated and acoustic board to the right rooms, plus cement sheet to wet areas and all fixings.
Hanging
Ceilings and walls hung, square-set or cornice ceilings, bulkheads, niches and the cut-outs for downlights and manholes.
Setting and finishing
Taping, corner beads, base and top coats, stopping screw heads and sanding to a Level 4 finish ready for paint.
Linings and handover
Eaves and soffit linings, an allowance for trade patch-up after other trades, and a final touch-up before painting starts.
